This year's blossom has been good, and the new growth on this Christmas tree is fantastic .... it was a potted one that has taken about five years to establish itself in the ground.

The Higher Truth
Wherever opposite views are held with warmth by religious-minded men, we may take for granted that there is some higher truth which embraces both. All high truth is the union of two contradictories. The truth does not lie between these two, but in a higher reconciling truth which leaves both true.

What is the name that blossoming beauty of a tree? And please don't tell me it's Shirley!
ReplyDeleteAsk me another! Haven't a clue. But the blossom turns into small round dark-red fruit that look like ornamental cherries. I'd guess that it's an ornamental cherry!
